This is realllllllllly weird lmao

This is really NORMAL.
Except we never see it-so it is terrifying and uncomfortable when it happens.
(Mostly because people would laugh or be unkind)

I own a sex shop. Once a woman bled on our chair during an interview. She was horrified and felt ashamed because it was in some way unprofessional. We weren’t bothered. We said ‘what better place to work on being ok with your body than at a feminist sex shop?’
Bleeding is normal and dealing with it is one of the most pervasive ways women are complicit in their silence.

Some men bleed too. How would you react to that? For many men who are Trans the act of bleeding is a security threat.

Fuck off with your lolz.

Reblogging again for above commentary ^^^^^

I think I was in love once.

  • Ten:

    Really? What was her name?

  • Nine:

    Her name was Rose.

  • Ten:

    Doctor, we all love Rose.

  • Nine:

I love Rose because she's fantastic. She always knew just what to say and she made me better.

  • Ten:

Oh, yes! Rose was brilliant. All soft and warm and clever and so very human.

  • Ten:

Doctor, are you just looking at girls in the universe and saying that you love them?

  • Eleven:

    I love... fez.

  • Ten:

Do you really love fez, or are you just saying that because you saw it?

  • Eleven:

    I - I love fez! I love fez.

If you’ve ever used a crocheted or knitted washcloth you know exactly what I mean when I say that I will never, ever use a store-bought cloth again. So when I saw this crochet shower puff, I was incredibly excited to say the least. Get the how to from What’s for Dinner including a brilliant PDF that you can print and keep with you while working it.

FYI - when making these puffs or washcloths you need to use 100% cotton yarn. They sell it at Wal-Mart and craft stores like Hobby Lobby and Michaels for around $2 for a small skein. I prefer the Sugar n’ Cream brand  for bang for your buck. Do NOT use regular old yarn (like the very common Red Heart… it’s acrylic and it’s not going to work out for you and you’ll have wasted your time and yarn.

Suppose a man makes unwanted social advances to a woman in, let’s say, a restaurant or theatre, and she eventually has to tell him loudly or angrily to get lost. She is the one who will be perceived as rude, hostile, aggressive, and obnoxious. His verbal aggression and invasiveness are accepted and expected; her rudeness (or mere curtness) in getting rid of him is noticed and condemned. One of our great myths is that a “real lady” can and should handle any difficulty, defuse any assault, without ever raising her voice or losing her manners. Female rudeness or violence in resistance to male aggression has often been taken to prove that the woman was not a lady in the first place, and therefore deserved no respect from the aggressor or sympathy from others.
